\u201cIt\u2019s a big advantage, and a big part of President Trump\u2019s pitch to Republicans right now is just to pretend like he is on the ballot, and we are hearing some whispers of a ton of Trump travel in October, possibly as much as a Trump rally a day in the most competitive states and districts,\u201d Doocy said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAnd that is something that you don\u2019t typically see from a president in a set of midterms that are historically very hard for the president\u2019s party,\u201d Doocy added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Co-host Brian Kilmeade jumped in and asked, \u201cEspecially Peter before Labor Day. I mean, it shows his concern that he would stop in Texas. Do you sense that he\u2019s going to personally give Ken Paxton a wake up call?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThat could be coming. I think behind closed doors, they are pretty blunt. But, you know, when you look at it and President Trump says pretend like I am on the ballot, really, he is on the ballot because and I haven\u2019t really heard anybody here at the White House making this point yet kind of surprising,\u201d Doocy said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cBut he is on the ballot in that if Democrats win control of the House or the Senate, it\u2019s just going to be constant investigations,\u201d Doocy added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThey\u2019re going to be trying to use Congress and all of the power over there to unwind everything that they have done for the last two years and help whoever their pick is for 2028. And so Donald Trump, his name might not be right there, but he is on the ballot at pretty much every line,\u201d Doocy continued.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Senate Leadership Fund, a powerful Republican super PAC aligned with Senate Majority Leader John Thune of South Dakota, says it and its affiliated groups have raised more than $500 million ahead of the 2026 elections, giving Republicans a record-setting financial arsenal as they fight to preserve their Senate majority.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The fundraising haul represents more money than any previous Senate-focused political effort, according to SLF.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The organization alone has already committed more than $350 million to supporting Republican candidates across the Senate battlefield.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Republicans enter the midterms facing the traditional political headwinds confronting a president\u2019s party, which historically tends to lose congressional seats during midterm elections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But GOP groups have spent months building an enormous financial advantage designed to counter those pressures and force Democrats to defend races across an increasingly expensive Senate map.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
SLF is already targeting critical contests in states including Alaska, Iowa, Maine, Michigan and North Carolina, while pouring additional resources into other battlegrounds as Republicans seek not only to protect their majority but potentially expand it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThanks to Leader John Thune and our generous investors, Senate Leadership Fund and its affiliated groups have raised more resources than any other Senate effort in history,\u201d SLF Executive Director Alex Latcham said in a statement to Fox News Digital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meanwhile, Democrats are having difficulties raising money. The Democratic National Committee has even been forced to use its headquarters building as collateral for a $15 million loan over the summer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHowever, we cannot slow down as Chuck Schumer and Radical Democrats seek to take our nation back to open borders, rampant crime and crushing inflation,\u201d Latcham added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Those issues are expected to form a central part of the Senate Leadership Fund\u2019s strategy as Republicans attempt to define Democratic candidates ahead of the November midterms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
